Tony’s Chocolonely

Role: Freelance graphic design, branding, illustration, motion, & photo editing

Tony’s Chocolonely is an international chocolate company that set out to make all chocolate production 100% slave free. They prove that not only can they be an ethical company, they can also make damn good chocolate.

Personalized Bars

I’ve been lucky enough to work on projects ranging from internal collateral to global campaigns but some of my favorite projects have been designing personalized chocolate wrappers. Tony’s has been partnering with celebrities, influencers, nonprofits, and other companies that share a love for chocolate and making the world a better place. Now, even the general public can create their own personalized bars on the Tony’s site based on the work we’ve created.

Tiny Tony’s Halloween Illustrations

Tony’s came to me to create some illustrations in their style for a 2020 virtual trick or treat game. These characters were sprinkled around their website behind closed doors. When you hovered over the door, either you would find a Tiny Tony or a silly ghost, which would be the trick. If you collected all 10 of the Tiny Tony’s then you’d get a treat sent to you.

Collegiate Changemaker Logo

Tony’s started a college program in the Fall of 2020 for students at 6 chosen universities. Their goal was to partner with young entrepreneurs to educate their peers and make a social impact on campus with the Tony’s brand.

I was brought on to the project to help create a logo that represented “education” and “university” but still felt like it existed in the Tony’s universe.
